We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant, we arrived in Dublin to celebrate a 21st birthday, we had no plans and a group of 10!! I hopped on and booked this place and was asked if it was for a special occasion or anything and I happened to mention the big birthday…. We were booked in for 7.30 on a Saturday night and it was epic, the atmosphere was electric, the restaurant was full of interesting things and the music and atmosphere was brilliant to, it was loud but that was what we wanted, we arrived to friendly staff and a lovely balloon on the table! Service was awesome, food and cocktails didn’t disappoint and to top it off the birthday boy was surprised with ice cream and sparklers and all the staff singing and wishing him a happy birthday, really lovely gesture and it made his night, we will return to this venue on our next trip to Dublin, many thanks to all the staff. Went with 10 others for my child’s confirmation dinner at lunch time Was quiet part of the day so service was excellent few orders came out wrong Maybe cause people made unclear starters Mains mixup all in all Food was tasty as expected with fresh looking menu since last visit. Price consistent with menu options around. Overall good experience

I had the vip deal, 2 for 1 drinks. I found the offer a bit misleading as it was only 2 for 1 for whoever purchased a main course meal.

Loud.. between diners and music it's a bit much. Not great for kids. The food was ok, my double bacon smash burger was average, with sauce on one side. Kids cheese burger was average. Kids nuggets tasted like cheap frozen ones, I know they'll not be anything special, but they tasted bland. The servers were polite, but they were lifting plates etc before we had finished and kept lifting bits as we ate. It was irritating. As well as then asking if our kids were finished as one ate her nuggets and had chips left... really felt pushy and bad etiquette. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.

Notice portions getting smaller and smaller to maintain price levels. Food still very tasty. Noise level loud and boisterous but to be expected at Thunder road. Don’t go for quiet intimate chats! Staff always bubbly and pleasant. Very enjoyable evening with family.
