   The service was appalling.. we had to wave staff down for absolutely everything.. it was like we were wearing our invisible suits.. it literally ruined our day out.. we done here often and this was such average service. We spent over $400 for our lunch.. which we are happy to pay.. only if the service reflects it.. sorry for the spray but we were all so disappointed!

   First time visiting Tide and must say it’s a very cosy and semi formal place to dine with a million dollar view. Food and service was great. The food came out reasonably quick but never felt pushed and service was very friendly and attentive, we definitely recommend Tide on the Jetty to anyone looking for a great dinner with a view.

   The rain finally cleared around 4.30pm after a day of extremely heavy rain and although the sky was very moody, Tide on the Jetty is always a great spot to have a sunset drink and food. Unfortunately, they had quite a large group in and large windows which are usually open were closed due to the crazy rainy day Brisbane had experienced which may it extremely noisy and had to hear each other speaking. The staff as usual are prompt, courteous and helpful and the food is always wonderful. We will be back.

   Fabulous food, drinks, service & ambience. Lively without being crazy noisy! Wonderful setting. Thanks for a fantastic evening out which made our celebration really memorable.

   A real hidden gem for locals at Manly. Excellent service, great location and good food. Next time will be the degustation.

   The staff were helpful when they attended our table but unfortunately that was only for initial drink and food orders. We tried to flag them down for extra help multiple times but were unable to catch their attention as they were absorbed by larger parties. No salt and pepper on the table and couldn’t get any before food started to cool. Finally got to order a second round of drinks and one was forgotten. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for it, and a staff member was leaning on the bar on her phone. We weren’t in her section, but it was annoying to see regardless. It’s a beautiful restaurant, but quality and service could improve. My Fettuccine Marinara was average, tomato base was watery and lacked salt and pepper. Reasonable value for money if you’re not expecting a special occasion. Bonus points for letting us split the bill and pay separately. I’d go back for a brunch to try it in a different service period, only because it’s a beautiful location. But if I experienced similar service and food quality again I’d give it a miss from then on. Staff name tags would be a good idea.

   We ordered snapper burger, haloumi burger, lamb shanks, and two mushroom and truffle gnocchi. The ladies said they couldn't taste the truffle and the one with the lamb shank was appalled at the small size. The burgers were nice. We had cocktails and wine, however after we received our meals, no one reattended the table for 45 minutes despite us trying to get someone's attention to order dessert and more drinks. Regardless, we just left and went elsewhere. One of the workers looked like she'd rather be absolutely anywhere else.

    Restaurant is in a gorgeous location and the food was great. Service however was a let down and really set a bad tone to the experience
