Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

We used to love the food at Timber! But the exceptional quality was missing in our meal last night. My squash soup was excellent, as was my cocktail, but it went downhill from there. The duck entree was dry, tough and overcooked and the noodles and few vegetables it came with didn’t help. I should’ve known by the presentation as it was a dark monochromatic mixture on a dark plate. The waitress (Mia) asked how our entrees were, and I answered honestly that the duck wasn’t good and it was tough and dry. She apologized but I got the impression she wasn’t going to share that with the kitchen supervisor. My husband and I then ordered the cherry streusel to share, which has always been amazingly delicious. But not this time. The streusel wasn’t warmed up and the crust was thick and required some serious knife skills to cut. Our bill was $137, which included two cocktails. Way too much to spend for a disappointing meal in a loud restaurant.

Warm and cozy spot on a cold night. A t was busy but noise level was fine. Caesar with blackened salmon was good. The new seared tuna salad was excellent! I’d go back for the tuna salad. Yummy cocktails and price for all is fair.

This was our first time eating at Timber. Food was AMAZING! We shared the Warm Board and Timber Pie pizza. We also each had a cup of the corn chowder. We will definitely be back again!

Great food. Great service. Had the brisket tacos, timberburger, and a Woodfire pizza that were incredible. Our server was over the top as well as management. The place is a little loud, but we’re told they are working on it. Solid place to eat

We joined another couple for dinner who requested a restaurant that wasn't noisy or expensive. Timber was quiet and surprisingly affordable. On top of that, menu options were creative and of a nice variety, the server was knowledgeable of all the menu items, arrived at our table at exactly the right times, and was able to pick up on details, ex: refilling water, clearing the appetizer board, and offering dessert. I'd highly recommend Timber. It was obvious from the full restaurant that I'm not the only one with a favorable impression. Way to go!
