Simon and Tania Johnson have owned Tinamba Hotel since October 2020 and feel honoured to be the custodians of the hotel’s proud heritage as they build upon a vision from previous owners, Brad Neilson, Damien Gannon, the Schoenmaeker and Whelan families.

Using the finest, locally grown fresh produce from local suppliers and working with the most talented chefs in the region is what the Johnsons believe sets Tinamba Hotel apart. The signature dishes deliver a truly memorable experience, served in a setting famously known as Gippsland’s favourite destination dining venue.

    Highly recommend Tinamba Hotel. It ticks lol the boxes- classy venue, amazing food and outstanding service. We are so lucky to have this establishment at our doorsteps and need to ensure that we support it so that it can remain for many years to come.

    Never informed it was a set menu as did not suit our acquired taste lack of choice lucky to get two meals changed and far as table service the girl was rude

    We were made to feel special from the moment we got there. Having worked in hospitality for many years, we were impressed with the food and the service. They also surprised us with a special happy birthday for my mum. Thank you!

    Great experience from booking to dining. Food was exceptional. Menu catered for all. Staff attentive without hovering. Service was relaxed but efficient. Will be returning.

    Wasn’t the best experience. The food was average, nothing really stood out compared to the first time we visited. The service was poor - we waited around for a long time. Waiting for food, waiting to order.
