   The Mariscos was absolutely delicious and their red snapper was such a delight. Stephen was a great server and made sure we were always attended too. 10/10. Would always go back for the experiences! THANK YOU TIO PEPE

   This was dinner with friends who are moving across the country, and the staff made everything lovely for us. The food was delicious and I especially liked the cocktail menu. The best time to come is Sunday afternoons to support live jazz with Rick Bogart on vocals and clarinet and Marc Daine on guitar. Not sure who is on double bass these days. It is a great crowd and Rick has a small group of guest singers that never disappoint. Tio Pepe’s has been around since 1970 & I hope it will be for many years to come. (Shout out to Claude Solliard for leadership that got us through the last few difficult years!)

   Food was great, but despite the fact that the restaurant was only half full, service was a disaster. Orders were confused with other diners, app utensils were collected but not replaced so mains arrived and it took a full 5 minutes for new utensils to be provided, some mains arrived before apps were done, others took much longer. Desserts were provided without utensils, coffee without milk (despite request), and it took 25 minutes for 2 cappuccinos to arrive after a regular coffee arrived.

   Love this place, the food and the staff. For whatever reason, our last time there it felt impossible to get a waiter’s attention, and our hour long dinner took twice the time. Still plan to go back as this was a one time fluke, and haven’t had that experience at any other dinner there.

   Service was extremely poor - waited over 20 minutes to place our order and had to ask our waiter for the same item multiple times because he kept forgetting or bringing the wrong items. A paella that was advertised as taking 35-45 minutes took 75 minutes to come out. All the food was subpar quality and not worth the price. Skip this restaurant.

    We were there for the Rick Bogart band and it did not disappoint! We loved the food, people and atmosphere. We are in NYC with our 29-35 year old adult children. They loved it too. And the paella was some of the best we've ever had!!
