   We had entrées and cocktails with friends. The menu offered many interesting choices, making it difficult to arrive at a final decision. Our waiter was more than willing to help us decide and make recommendations. The food came out warm and in a reasonable amount of time. This was our third time dining at Tlahcos, and we plan to continue supporting this place of business.

   Overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. The music was way too loud and made conversation difficult. Our server was friendly and helpful, but the service was incredibly slow. We waited a long time after receiving our drinks to order food and then waited a long time to receive our bill. The chips and salsa were plentiful, but the salsa was very bland. I ordered the birria tacos and they were delicious. We also had guacamole, which was fresh but also very bland.

   They took special care to prepare for as many couples as possible on Valentine’s Day. They had a piano player and fun decor. Even though there was a mix up on the reservation, they fit us in. Our server was attentive and very helpful with the menu. The sangria was delicious. The entrees were fresh and hot.

   Place was packed before a nearby concert, but staff did a great job of getting us our food on time to make the start of the show. The barrachos entree was delicious.

   Busy busy night. Short staffed. Bar and kitchen backed up with orders. We were there an hour and 15 minutes before we got out food. Food was hot and fantastic.

    The food is very good different than your typical Mexican. Drinks are good, waiters are very friendly. The hostess (older lady)needs a lesson in how to welcome people! Very rude every time we visit, she doesn’t fit in with all the nice people that work there.
