   We are regulars to Tommy’s however today it was so loud in there it’s uncomfortable. When you have to rate the noise level and you select the highest value, I would call it energetic as it’s described. It’s so loud with no sound dampening that you just want to eat and go. The tables are squished together and they are crammed in with low ceiling, wooden floor, the bar, kitchen etc, you can’t hear each other talking and you are practically yelling. Even the waitress said she can’t stand it either. You need to fix the sound asap. Also, it was so warm with only a ceiling fan on. The food of course is lovely, but lol this is lost on the experience.

   The lamb ragu was outstanding! So flavourful and good! Service was ok -our server seemed to forget about us often.

   Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Overall assessment is "good" (Noting that is the word definition for the 3 stars). There are lots of staff (but we still waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink orders). The table was very "sticky" (appeared the finish was coming off) that meant we had to have napkins under our elbows (we noticed this on other tables as well). Food came quickly and was well prepared, just kind of average for Italian in the Gold Coast. Surprisingly best dish at the table was one that was made "special order" due to garlic intolerance. The setting is excellent (we were inside upstairs) and the ambiance very nice (tables are a bit close together and small). Price was fair. Would we go again? Probably not but no one had pizza so maybe we will give it another go and try the pizza (which looked good).

   Our first time here. It was fantastic. Lovely service. We had to change our booking on Australia Day so was happy to be accommodated. Highly recommend.
