   The Wagyu and mashed potatoes were fantastic. I was seated and served promptly, checked in on but not bothered. Overall a fantastic experience.

   1. Our drinks were definitely above average, I especially loved my "Lady Grey". 2. Calamari app, nothing special here. 3. Delicious entrees: salmon, short ribs and in particular, the special of the evening, a whitefish, were all impressive. 4. The service from Erin was outstanding, friendly and attentive without going overboard. 5. Parking garage is right behind the building. 6. Ambiance was sleek modern/quiet, although the dining room filled up by the time we left. Recommend!

   Tonic is my go-to eatery when I am in Wilmington. I have always had a great meal at Tonic; the last; several weeks ago. Tonight was an exception. I have never dined on a Sunday, so perhaps there is a different level of kitchen staff. My entree was exceedingly overcooked (ordered rare; was medium well, at minimum). We dined early, and our meal was well timed. Small plate was excellent. Entrees were served hot; sides were barely warm. I understand this is a steakhouse, but a $50 entree should include something other than a lukewarm starch. My guest was underwhelmed with the quality of his meal (exceedingly fatty protein). Our server was very nice. I mentioned my entree was tasty but quite overdone. When she brought our bill, a glass of wine and dessert was comped. This was not my intent when I mentioned the cook on my entree, but was very kind. I'm not certain I will dine again soon, as planned.

   Great vibe, friendly staff. The tuna poke nachos were excellent! Scallops were amazing and we loved the fish sandwich. Also, very well made cocktails!

   My first time dining here. Food was good. Short rib egg-rolls were dry. Mussels, steak and crab cakes were delicious. Cream spinach was too creamy. I would definitely return again to try some other items. Need bigger water bottles and water glasses please. They has a live band playing it was entertaining.
