   Probably the driest chicken parmesan in Boston. Shrimp Scampi had a fistful of garlic in it and a ton of chili flake. House wines are cheap and terrible. Service is a mess (our server had ear buds in the whole time). The music was a complete miss (80s & 90s rock). We had high hopes when we entered such a cozy space, but it was a swift downward spiral after that. Super expensive for the quality and service provided. We were very disappointed.

   This is our favorite spot! My husband and I go every time we are in Boston. The ambience and food are phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back!

   I went to Tony and Elaine’s with my family who had never been - they poured us oil and then found out they ran out of bread, which was a bit of a buzz kill but no big deal. The food was pretty good overall, the bolognese was definitely the stand out dish ordered. Skip the cacio e pepe, there really wasn’t much Pepe or flavor besides butter(?) Overall, pretty good but not great, the atmosphere is cool and nostalgic, though.

   The service was a bit slow but it was an excellent experience overall. My only note would be that the playlist (90s indie rock) was a bit silly and didn’t fit the general vibe. We celebrated our 3 year anniversary here and will definitely be back.
