   Service was accommodative. We were seated earlier than our anticipated reservation time. Food was just decent. Nice for a fusion place but bad for Japanese food. The forgot to place the soy sauces Rice tasted bad. But meat dishes and seafood tasted delicious. Overall 3/5.

   Had a wonderful time for our anniversary. The drinks were really delicious and the sushi was amazing. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

   A perfect meal! Everything was fantastic - from the well chosen decor and tableware to the beautifully presented and delicious food. Our server was kind and attentive; she made our two schoolaged children feel welcome and grown up. I will definitely come back.

   Just seems like they didn’t have the ability to keep up with the crowd that was there. We were sat in the back area and waited for about 10 minutes before being greeted. Drinks and apps were ordered right away. Drinks came out really late. Ordered three rolls when the drinks arrived. Apps took 40 minutes, rolls were delivered about 30 minutes after that. Refill on the bar drinks were forgotten and then comped, which was nice, but the whole experience was disappointing due to the slow kitchen and bar. Server was very nice.

   This was our favorite meal we had on our trip to Monterey/Carmel. Every staff member was so kind and attentive. I’m pregnant and our waiter made sure items were cooked all the way through so I could still enjoy all they had to offer! Our favorite was the seared salmon roll. Their house salad dressing is one of the best salad dressings I’ve had.

   I was a bit late and called I the restaurant to let them know. I was a solo diner, which I enjoy more often than not. Just not this time. I ordered the omakase and I was told it was not a traditional one, I was fine with that. My food arrived shortly and I was briefed on what was on this boat. The fish was not its best and I should’ve stopped there, but I needed to give it a chance. I could taste the previous frozen state of the fish as it was watery when I squeeze the white fish, the mackerel Smelled very fishy(not fresh. Scallop was decent, the uni good. The octopus was so chewy I couldn’t go on. It payed on my boat. That was a couple days ago and I’ve been a living in my restroom. I will eventually go to urgent care if Not cool. $140 later. Not worth it is an understatement. I thought because it was Carmel it would be awesome

    So glad we could order several types of sushi as a larger party -Carmel, Spider, Rainbow, Shortt’s Crunch, hamachi, scallops - all were delicious! Delicious cocktails and attentive service.
