   Great time except server loaded us up with way to many sides. Probably half the sides were untouched and were thrown away. Other than that, good food and decent service.

   We had an early Saturday evening reservation for two, we were promptly seated and our waiter was very quick to arrive. We ordered an appetizer of smoked swordfish dip and it arrived very promptly. The dish was presented well and served with plantain and tortilla chips. The dip had little flavor of smoked fish and was very watery, the waiter was almost rushing us to order and eat but we just assumed they were trying to turn the table over for more reservations. For dinner we ordered the prime wagyu picanha medium rare and a side of pork belly Mac and cheese. The main course arrived quickly and was very presentable. The steak was very tough and the silver skin had not been removed and the Mac and cheese was room temperature. The restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was great with an extensive spirit and wine list but our food was subpar.

   Excellent dinner with service to match. The menu was full of unique flavor pairings and creative dishes. We will certainly be back.

   Really great food but not the best service. The flavors of the food were great. Really loved the steak and shrimp cocktail. Mimosas weren’t the best but got the job done.

   We had a really great server unfortunately he couldn't counteract the fact that our table was ready 10 minutes past the reservation and then it took 1.5 hours to get our 1 ribeye to the table. Assuming there was an issue in the kitchen because when the steak came out, the sides were all cold like they had been sitting. We share 1 ribeye between 4 girls (after salads, apps, cocktails and wine). There was also no music. Overall it was a dud for girls night out. Super long dinner with no energy.

   We ordered an appetizer, a large tomahawk steak (listed as serving two), one glass of wine and a side of brussel sprouts. $220. Server Alex was clumsy, appeared new to the role. He rushed our meal, and even took away my brussel sprouts prior to me finishing without asking. I was planning on eating them, but I guess he thought I was done. We had the tomahawk steak, which was just ok. The taste was average, and the presentation was clumsy. It was sliced for us at the table side, and it would seem that Alex had never sliced a steak like that before. My wife and I split the steak as it was advertised to feed two, and it was not a filling meal. The menu says it is for two people, but I would disagree. It felt like I got half of a steak, and it was $120 just for the meat. The tea glasses hold about 8 ounces total, and most of that was ice, so my drink was constantly empty. I asked for sweetnlow, and apparently that does not come with a spoon or anything to stir it with. I had to use my streak knife to stir my drink. I had requested horseradish at the same time I ordered my steak, and I still had to wait for it after the meal was served, approximately 8 minutes to receive the horseradish. Ambiance was very nice, with a clean restaurant and live music. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food, but presentation was pretty poor for the price point. I am all for people learning a new trade, but when my meal is $220 for two people, I expect everything to be perfect or almost perfect. If I wanted an average steak I would have gone to chili's. My vote: Save your time trying this place and go to Ruth's Chris or Reata. The service is excellent at both of those places.

   Regardless of what menu you eat from, the food is incredible. Well balancedand very flavourful. The staff is always amazing and extremely kind. All of our special occasion meals are here because the food is Michelin star level. At Toro Toro, it'salways a good time.

   Disappointing. Appetizers were slow to appear and then we were told one was unavailable, which delayed the course further. Drinks were inconsistent in quality from the first to the second and main course was slow also. Server seemed more interested in turning the table than providing an enjoyable experience. It was a friend’s birthday and we had high hopes but were disappointed. As a restaurant located in a hotel, it seems geared to the business traveler on an expense account rather than the local patron celebrating a special occasion.
