The food and service were excellent. It was a busy Saturday night, and the restaurant doesn't really have the space to handle the influx of customers waiting for their tables so the area around the front door, check-in desk and bar was very congested. However, the people checking in were very professional considering how busy they were.

Fabulous experience. Been there many times but last visit was exceptional. Went with the evenings specials and the First Snow cocktail and tritip steak entree were “don’t miss !!” Staff is warm , welcoming and professional. Such a lovely time. Special recognition for Olivia, Marc, Christian and Hannah.

Drinks excellent. Food delicious. Servers excellent. Ambience more Boston than Portsmouth. But a slow down in the kitchen meant our entrees didn’t arrive until more than 2 hours after we were seated. The manager graciously comped us part of our meal & refilled our wine glasses at no charge. Will definitely be back.

1st time here. Came for wife’s birthday and we were both blown away by everything from our server (Dennis) to the steaks and sides. Wife had a lemon martini that was the best either of us ever tasted. Highly recommend here. We will definitely come back

We tried this restaurant because we had seen it on The Phantom Gourmet. It did not disappoint-- our server was excellent, the food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely go back next time we're in Portsmouth.

Been to the bar 5 times, and this is literally the THIRD time they forgot to put in my steak order. As 30 minutes passed I knew the guy bartending forgot, so I asked his co hort " can you check on my steak, I am sure he forgot, it always happens to me here". Sure enough she said it was not put in even though he had put my steak knife etc., and I told her i figured, forgetting to put my order in is standard practice here. She was nice, it came out and was decent. Other than that, great ambiance, good food, service usually good, but NEVER assume they put in your order at the bar, I am at a 60% failure rate with that. But nice value and restaurant overall
