Toulouse Café and Bar recalls a Fin de Siecle Parisian Café where you are likely to bump into friends and find yourself in conversations with neighboring tables. Alfonso our waiter was perfect and my second time to be served by him. He has the perfect blend of tending to you and leaving you be - guides you through the menu and is simply wonderful vibe. The restaurant is soft in noise and elegant, We had escargot, bisque, bouillabaise, lobster risotto and duck confit. We had custard, bread budding and the BEST chocolate gelato/custard with chocolatge pearls/macaroons/whipped cream/sherbert dessert you have ever put in your mouth! Fantastic and a wonderful place for celebrations.

This was a very disappointing dinner experience. We have been to this restaurant many times in the past, but it has really gone downhill. The three main course steak frites, which were upgraded to a ribeye ($55/each) were all overly salty (not edible) & the cut was of low grade. One guess had a burger that looked like it was from a frozen patty.. I tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner. However, my top 3 choices on their menu were not available. They did offer to redo the food, but it was too late by the time they checked in & we hate sending back food. They did send a manager & tried to comp us desserts, which we did not take. This is a restaurant I used to enjoy but will not be back.. Big disappointment.

Never disappoints. Saturday night and my sisters and I truly enjoyed ourselves from appetizers to desert. Bartender on point with my French 75’s. Angelo was very gracious and never let our water glasses go empty even as the restaurant became busy. One of my stops while in Dallas for great food and service. Thank You to the lovely young ladies at the hostess, Angelo our server, kitchen staff and management. Will soon you again soon.

Our first time dining at Toulouse was phenomenal. Steven, our waiter, was the best we've had in years. He went out of his way to hear our questions, offering suggestions and customizations to accommodate our wishes. We will definitely return!

Food was great (except for a chunk of bones found in my fish that ended up in my throat). Service not so much. The management did make it right by knocking off a bunch of things from our bill without us even asking so we really appreciated that. I would give it another chance because the food tasted good
