    The ceviche, tuna tatare, lobster salad and deep fried parrot fish were delicious. The plantain fritters inedible. The wines are good. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset but even after. The service is good, except they forgot our entree on the second visit. The drinks are very good. The tables are set far enough apart that you don't have to talk or listen to other patrons. This is NOT where to go if you are in a hurry. It was my favorite spot for dinner in Esperanza.

    Limited menu choices, food was average. Service was slow, and we felt ignored even though the place wasn’t busy. Great view of the ocean.

    We love dining at Tradewinds each time we visit Vieques. Samantha and her folks are a delight to be around. The food is always stellar. Who can beat the ocean front location and the "tradewinds" that blow through the open air restaurant? However, this time around there was a bit of a bump in the road as our entrees took over an hour to get out to us after receiving the one appetizer the table had ordered. Three tables that arrived after us, received their entrees well before us and one table even finished, paid up and departed before our food arrived. However, Samantha was apologetic and certainly helped out the tardy food arrival issue by basically removing the price of one entree off of our check. It was a bit disappointing waiting for a good amount of time for our entrees but we will be back the next time we are on the island.

    Trade Winds is a great place for Sunday Brunch! Beautiful views of the Caribbean and the Malecon, nice breeze, and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome, the food was delicious! We will definitely return, maybe for dinner next time!

    Enjoyed a great meal with my family. I had the Mahi and my husband had the lobster which we enjoyed. My daughter had a burger and stated that it was dry. Overall we had a good experience with great views. Definitely worth a visit.

    I like that there’s not loud music, that some tables are available outside. It’s set upstairs, above the sidewalk, with view of Caribbean ocean. Probably boring for 20-something’s but nice for conversation. Food is good—nothing special but dependable. It’s been in existence for many years on vieques, before there was a Malecon and maybe the first built there by Duffy. So holds sentimental value for us Viequenses and loyal tourists.
