   I have never been to a restaurant who has refused more bread.. Our server Antoietta D. questioned us when we asked for more bread, and then when we asked again, said she needed to charge us for it and then instead of doing so, refused us more and gave us the check as if we were done with her our meal. Never once asked if we were all set, needed another drink, and never even offered us dessert. I love this restaurant but she made this an awful experience and will likely not return due to her. She even follow us as we were leaving to thank us for her less than 20% tip, which she clearly deserved. Trattoria can thank Antoietta D. for the loss of a customer and bad review.

   this has become our North End go to. this most recent trip, I tried the fusilli special. It was incredible. We keep going back for the food and service. Table attendants are always oin the lookout to fill water glasses, clear plates, bring bread and parm and offer to go packaging. We have had Catino as our server before. He is familar with us, professional, suggestive and on point. I trust his recommendations and appreciate his hospitality.

   Came for lunch during Dine Out Boston. As always, the food and service were outstanding. Wife got the Pistachio martini. Daughter-in-law got the Expresso martini. Both were also outstanding. Love this place!

   I recently dined at a local restaurant and was impressed by the inviting ambiance, attentive service, and exceptional main courses. However, I was disappointed to find that the dessert menu was lacking, with no options available to conclude the meal on a sweet note. I hope that in the future, they will consider adding desserts to provide a complete dining experience.

   Everything was delicious. A truly authentic 50+ year family owned Italian restaurant with Italian wait staff. Definitely coming back. Best lasagna ever!

   So good! The lasagne was unreal and the service was great too. We got everything the owner recommended and it did not disappoint. He was such a nice guy as well and we ended the night with complimentary limoncello! 10/10 experience

   We had a reservation and didn’t have to wait long for our table. We were seated and greeted by our waiter who took our drink order within a few minutes. When he returned with our drinks, he took our order. We ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time, which I knew was a mistake. In less than 10 minutes our entrees were out, no appetizers. Our waiter did not bring our food out, they have several food runners. He came to the table shortly after and we asked about the appetizers, he offered to bring them and put our entrees under food warmers, to which we said no…bc who wants to do that!? Some of us had fish. Our entrees were okay, chicken parm, pesto dish, spaghetti carbonara and tortellini in an Alfredo sauce. There was an up charge for chicken in the carbonara and shrimp in the pesto in dishes. The waiter brought out 4 limoncello shots for the table as an apology for forgetting the appetizers, they were undrinkable. Finally, two of us ordered espresso martinis, they were terrible. They did not use real espresso, or espresso vodka. It was kahlua, and Bailey’s, and loads of cocoa powder. For $14 each, I do not recommend. We were really looking forward to dining here after seeing all the great reviews but our experience was below average. We will not return and would recommend going elsewhere when choosing to dine in the North End.

    Got the Quattro and all the meat was very dry. Did not even eat the entire meatball. Very disappointed
