First time eating at Tresca in the North End. Looked at reviews and thought it was worth a try. We have eaten at several other Italian restaurants in the area and was a bit disappointed here. The food was a little above average and we felt a bit rushed [my wife and I were out in about 1 hour]. Overall would not recommend or go back as there are so many other options in the North End.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry you felt rushed, it is never our intention. Tables are set up for a 2 hour dining period.

Very surprised and disappointed by the food this visit. I ordered a margherita pizza. It literally tasted and looked like a frozen pizza. I didn’t eat it. The calamari was chewy and tough. My son’s chicken piccata was delicious and so was my husband’s lasagna, so it wasn’t a total bust. Service was amazing as usual.

We are sorry to hear of your recent experience with us. Did you let the server or our Chef that is visiting most tables about your concerns with the pizza? Much easier to make it right while you are still dining. Thank you for your feedback.

Got there 5 minutes before my reservation time and was seated 25 min after. They do not have a nice seating/ standing area either as people were getting bumped into and a drink was actually spilled. Service was actively rushing us out like maybe if I got seated at my time I wouldn’t feel that rushed. Meal was very greasy the sole special was dripping in butter and would not recommend

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your recent visit. We obviously try to seat as close to reservation time but not always possible. We hope that you consider giving us another try in the future. Thank you!

Too loud. Portions so big that they are gross. No becemel in lasagne. Breading in mushroom appetizer over done. Cesar salad had no zip
