Granted, it was Christmas dinner, but the restaurant advertised you could order off the regular menu, but only had a limited selection. Food and waitstaff service was very good. Bar service was slow. They really crammed the tables in and it was very noisy in the restaurant. Would try it again on a non-holiday.

Have not been to Trio in a few years. I have to say, the food was outstanding and our waitress was lovely. There was some mixup a a waiter offered to box my leftovers and they disappeared. But the restaurant took care of it. With so many people eating on Christmas Day, I can see how this can happen. Just fantastic meal and service!

I noticed a number of negative reviews regarding the attitude of the servers here, but most diners raved about the food, so I ignored them. BIG MISTAKE. At these prices, no matter how good the food, a server who tries to lie his way out of a mistake instead of admitting it and apologizing is simply unacceptable. Fortunately there are other fine restaurants in Palm Springs.
