   We enjoyed the experience, but it was a bit uneven. The server was terrific, but the food was very slow to come out. The beer was cold, the cocktails were great, they have an interesting selection. The rolls and butter are fantastic - disappeared in seconds. The roast chicken was very good, with a lot of chicken, not much there for sides. Two of us had the chicken and enjoyed it. The cod was delicious, but a very small portion, also light on sides; my husband was really still quite hungry. The last meal was the pasta and it was just okay, slightly overcooked. The restaurant is very friendly, a nice vibe and staff was professional. Although the food was a mixed bag, I would try again and order starters!

   Excellent food, leaning toward classic French. White tablecloth but not stuffy. Reasonable tasting portions (did not leave feeling too stuffed after the 5-course). The star of the show is the wine list though. Had a phenomenal 1990 Rhone split at a very reasonable price. Will be back!

   Our party of 6 had an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere was perfect for conversation... with a round table so we could all see each other, and a quiet overall noise level so we could hear each other. Our server was outstanding... checking in at just the right frequency, knowing the answers to our questions about food and drinks, and having just the right amount of personality. Everyone loved their meals from steaks to seafood, to bolognese... 5 out of 5stars in my opinion!

Offsuit is our intimate cocktail bar in the back of Troquet, and you can taste unique items from the kitchen like a Foie Gras Chocolate Bar or Truffle "Uncrustable", and pair them with the best cocktails in the city, while listening to vinyl spinning in the background.    Everything was perfect. Great service, delicious food artfully prepared, and quiet ambience, perfect for catching up with an old friend. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
