Had to check out one of the newest place in Calgary, it did not disappoint, the food was familiar as in what other restaurants offer but the presentation and taste was different (ie) beef tartare. We went on a Sunday because this place is hopping and couldn’t get in. If I had to say anything in the negative and I wouldn’t say as in a bad way would be that the liquor menu (wine) was very limited , even the the cocktail selection as well. Overall, it will be a restaurant we will come to often!

Food is really good, all the dishes are very distinct tasting, great flavors. Only thing is menu is small and limited. We ordered quite a number of vegetable dishes and they were all good, though the quantity is small for sharing. The whole duck special we ordered was really well done, its juicy and tender. Its a great location for gatherings as well. Interior is lovely.

This is our second time at True Wild, and we liked it as much as the first. Such a cool building, great food, good vibe. Can’t wait to try the gin when it is released!

What an experience. Cocktail was fantastic. Our server, Peter, was fantastic, his suggestions and descriptions made the evening. Food was perfect. Shared between 4, 4 appetizers and 2 mains- lamb and steelhead. We will absolutely return. It is an amazing building but it is loud when busy. Toured around after dinner- this is an ambitious bunch.
