   Great location, feeling there was warm but not overcrowded though most tables were full. Greeted upon entry and seated with reservation quickly. Waited for friend but was offered a drink to start. Food was delicious. Will return.

   Denize took great care of us! The food was delicious - we had the platter for two and special baklava for dessert.

   We had a wonderful experience at Truva in Deerfield. We were greeted and taken to our table immediately. I ordered the strawberry mule from the cocktail menu and the server came back to tell me about all the other options of flavors in case I wanted to try something different. We ordered the Turkish flatbread and were eating as we would a piece of pizza. One of the kitchen staff came over to give us another garnish plate and showed us how to add the tomato and onions to the flatbread and eat it more like a sandwich. It really made the flavors come together and we enjoyed it much more. The service was excellent and the spicy chicken with rice was very good. We will definitely be back and would recommend to our friends.

   Overall the restaurant is very nice. Service was ok. We wanted to order swordfish kebabs, but as soon as the waiter heard that, he suggested to order whole branzino instead. Not sure if he was trying to make us order a more expensive dish or if the kebabs were even worse than branzino? We went with the waiter’s suggestion and were highly disappointed. The fish was dry, blend and smelled funky. Sides were not tasty at all - Vegetables were tasteless and mashed potatoes had clumps in it. No one approached us and asked if we liked the meal.. the dessert lightened up our mood - it was outstanding. Even though the ambiance was great, we don’t think we’ll be back, as the quality of food is very low.

    I was very excited to try this restaurant. Maybe it was my choice of food not being very Turkish. But they did have falafel on the menu and I tried it. It would’ve been easier eating a hockey puck. It was fried and it was black. The falafel patties even had handprints on them. I’m sure, the chef did not mean to burn this, but it was burned to a crisp and inedible. The waitress was super friendly and the rest of my party had decent food. My advice to the chef if you can’t make falafel, don’t do it. Will I go back? Probably not I’m spoiled by Phoenician taverna which is always been excellent.
