    We had a really lovely Sunday roast experience at the Tulse Hill Hotel - wonderful food and wine, and really exceptional and attentive service the whole time. Just a great atmosphere overall. Thank you!

    Have eaten here a few times and the food is always very good. This time however the service although fine was a lot slower than usual.

    We have eaten here on several occasions, but was disappointed this time. It was busy, we were a party of 4 out for a birthday celebration, the service was extremely slow, when our starters eventually arrived (after an hour after ordering) the bread was hot on the outside and frozen in the middle! We sent it back and had to wait a further 15 mins for a replacement. There was a big party in the restaurant, so everyone else suffered on lack of service, clearly the kitchen couldn't cope. We won't be rushing back anytime soon.

    Service could improve, staff are nice however generally only one person for food service therefore an increase there (staff). This would make all the difference with service and food (sometimes left waiting in kitchen to be picked up) as well as overall ratings.

    I'm not sure why Open Table suggested that tables were booking fast. I was the only one in the restaurant on a Friday evening. There was a wedding party outside and it appeared woefully understaffed. I approached one of the kitchen staff (because there was no one else around) but he knew nothing about my booking. I went to the bar, but there were just two staff serving a lot of the wedding party. It took about 20 mins before finally I was able to get someone's attention. By this time the music had been turned right up for the wedding guests, so I sat alone, eating a very average plate of food, with music pumping out. The only positive was the female server who, despite being run off her feet - and serving at the bar also - was attentive. I only ate there because I was staying at the hotel. But if I had my time again I wouldn't have bothered. Breakfast was equally average - not terrible, but hardly memorable - but at least the staff weren't distracted by having to serve at the bar also. I stayed at THH a few years ago and remember the breakfasts being much better. It seems to have got tired.

    Little dissapointing as we really want to like this place. Every time we come back there is very little to no service, took us 15 min to get looked at upon arrival while standing in front of the bar, in the meantime 2 people tried to add something to the till. Just a 'hi - be right there' would be have been great. But this is not the first time it happens. We managed to order, again with no service so had to always get to the bar for drinks despite eating in. We ordered and they didn't have what we ordered, only told us about 5 mins in. We change the order, and after 10 min again- did not had what we odered despite being on the menu. Overall disappointing, mainly the service. It could be a great buzzing place but I guess being understaff is a real issue for many.

    Really dry and overcooked food. Sadly waited 45 mins for our order and then the roast beef was inedible as it was tough, and had been sitting under heat lamps. When we told the staff this, they did offer us a refund on that meal but as we’d already paid and waited such a long time we didn’t want to waste any more time. Real shame as the people were nice but the food was really poor.

    We hadn’t been to THH for 18 months because of a bad experience, despite living 5 minutes away. What a change! Great food, fantastic service so can definitely recommend. We will be back soon!

    Sadly the food wasn’t up to par but we had fantastic service from our waitress (sadly I can’t remember her name). She was so friendly and kind it made up for the average food
