   Our server Ayona (sorry if i butchered that girly) was so sweet and definitely has the best kind of vibe for hospitality!! Really enjoyed our time and the food was good as well :)

   If you are going to brunch & want to experience great food, amazing atmosphere, & a wonderful staff from the front of the house to the servers. Then look no further you have arrived. We took our oldest son here for brunch today & the food & service was amazing. Hope I am saying the correct name I’m pretty sure our server name was Olivia & she was very nice, personable & attentive. She went above & beyond to make sure our visit was incredible.    Food was great, not only flavorful also came out hot. Overall the service was great because others delivered food and removed dishes. Our waitress took our order and brought our receipt…oh which she had to revise sense we wanted something to go. But with all of that it was an awesome experience. Others we very pleasant and helpful. I’d definitely recommend.

   Overall, Tupelo Honey presents a enjoyable culinary experience. The service and atmosphere are really top notch. However, there are some areas for improvement with some food items. The macaroni and cheese, a critical Southern dish, does not pack a punch in flavor and is far too heavy when consumed; in short, it does not have soul. My guest and I were surprised that the restaurant ran out of dark meat chicken by lunchtime. How does that happen? It should not when you claim that you are best known for chicken. That being said, there are certain items that are exceptional at this restaurant. These include the tomato soup and banana pudding. TH just needs more consistency in quality across its menu. Nonetheless, this restaurant is filling a void in the Columbia culinary scene and deserves to be tried at least once.

   There Spicy sweat fried chicken with crispy Brussel Sprouts looked as good in person as it did on their website and it smelled and tasted amazing. The restaurant was packed when I arrived for my reservation at the bar. Even though the restaurant was full the bar tender greeted me as soon as I sat down and her recommendation helped me choose between the 3 different types of their famous chicken. The chicken and brussel sprouts came out in less than 5 minutes. It was a great restaurant for someone like me who travels regularly.

   We had a really good time, we went at 5 on a Wednesday and had no issue getting a table, our food was out in less than 5 minutes and our server was very nice and attentive. Would definitely come back, the only reason they lost a star on food was because the chicken on the chicken and waffles was a little overcooked and didn’t have much Nashville hot flavoring on the chicken itself.

    The food was excellent, and it came out super fast. Most importantly, the waitress was professional, helpful, and attentive. I strongly recommend this spot!
