   Creative Southern cuisine, no bad choices. The bacon collard greens were great. Had never heard of using bacon in this side, didn't know what to expect. Service was great, food was slow coming out of the kitchen. Guessing it was due to being busier than normal for a Monday evening.

   The biscuits are different than they used to be. Overall a good experience. I really enjoyed the onion rings.

   Emily was our server and she was amazing. Professional, courteous and helpful. Good was great. Only reason I didn't give a 5 start, was that the temperature of some dishes could have been hotter. I got the mimosa flight and didn't like the seasonal flight. I wished I'd know what it was and I would have asked to swap it out. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. As usual!

   We were disappointed as last time everything was amazing. This time everything was not great- food had odd flavor, biscuits were dry, service was not great. Last time we were there it was packed.

   We had the best time and the food was delicious - the fried chicken and pumpkin soup, the Brussels sprouts and mahi mahi - highly recommended

    This was our first visit to Tupelo Honey in downtown Asheville, and it did not disappoint. We were familiar with their menu from the restaurants in Raleigh & in Greenville, SC, and took them up on their Valentine’s Special for Two. We chose Fried Green Tomatoes for our appetizer, which was among the best we’ve ever had. We chose Surf & Turf and Shrimp & Grits for our entrees, respectively, both of which were delicious and had generous portions. To top it off, we chose banana pudding for dessert, which we took home and enjoyed later, as we were quite full. Overall, a delicious meal in a fun atmosphere and for a reasonable price. We’ll be back!
