   This was my first time at Tupelo Honey-I was with some girlfriends for brunch. The mimosa flight is excellent and we all had a variation of their chicken and waffles. It was an exceptional and indulgent brunch for less than 40 bucks. I love it.

   It was a very snowy evening with a major concert in town, and we made a reservation to eat prior to the show. The place was bustling when we arrived, and while it took a few minutes for the hostess to clear out the line that developed, she acknowledged our reservation quickly and told us it would just be a matter of moments while they cleared some tables. True to her word we waited less than five minutes to be seated. We had a great waitress with a sunny disposition despite the crowded restaurant. My husband ordered a bowl of the pumpkin spice soup and I ordered the classic chicken and waffles, besides a drink for us both while we perused the menu. The soup was excellent. The chicken and waffles were good, but nothing outstanding. We have eaten here 3 or 4 times in the past and while it remains a decent place to get a quick bite when downtown, I wouldn't seek it out as destination on its own. All in all a good meal and decent price.

   We really enjoy this restaurant! Repeat customers because the food is delicious & usually no problem to get seated if we use Open Table. Hubs had meatloaf & I went for the chicken & waffles. We have also had the fried green tomatoes, several of the fish offerings & the mac-all excellent. Have to admit it can get a bit noisy when very busy, but not any more than most other places. Sitting outside in good weather is great.

   Great service and the food was amazing. It is a little loud but we were there at a busy time before a show. It was nothing that would keep me from going again. Fun and different menu with delicious items you don't see everywhere. We will go again for sure.

   This was my third time resting at this restaurant. The first time was chicken and waffles and I didn’t care for it. But the second time I had the Autumn Harvest Bowl and a side of Mac and cheese… to die for! I loved it so much I had it again last week. I tried making a similar recipe at home but it just can’t compare!! I HIGHLY recommend both!!!

    We cleaned our plates! The new sorghum pepper fried chicken was great. Our old standard of the honey dusted fried dark meat chicken was, as always, fabulous. We alllll had the collard greens- yummy! I tried the chicken tortilla soup as a side & I can't wait to have it again. Your sweet tea is the best in this area. (Being from the South, we think we're experts!)
