   Our server Whitney was Awesome!! I explained that this was my first time and she took extra time to address all of my questions. The food was good we order the fried green tomatoes, growing up in the south I was use to my fried tomatoes having more seasoning which I thought was lacking but once I got them home and added a little garlic, onion, and seasoning salt and popped them back in the oven they were actually pretty good. My husband had the shrimp and grits which he stated was just okay. I had the chicken and it was very tasty.

   The fried pickles were too thin and I don’t like pickled red onion in my salads, so I picked them out. Other than that, the fried dark meat chicken, and the rest of the salad were good. My wife enjoyed her chicken and the braised bacon collards. We mostly shared a small banana pudding and it was good.

   Great food, great service. We were in the area for Valentine’s Day and stayed over for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The fried chicken was crispy, hot, juicy and full of flavor. The shrimp and grits were also every bit worth it! I also tried a mimosa flight and found their twist on a traditional drink to be amazing, especially the lavender lemonade and blueberry mimosa. Would absolutely return.

   Fried green tomato appetizer was top notch with the yummy grits base. Chicken was phenomenal… flavorful and juicy, but side of grits were a little undercooked. Surf and turf entree was just ok. The steak was ordered med/rare and was overcooked and not seasoned at all. The crispy rosemary potatoes were crispy but not a trace of rosemary to be found.

   Our food was ridiculous good. Service was good; a little bit slow to remove plates, but only a minor inconvenience. We will definitely come back.

   The Valentines Day menu did not highlight their best dishes, but I will be giving it a 2nd chance with some of their more popular items.

   We went on Valentines Day and took advantage of the couples special. The food was really good, although could have been hotter. The atmosphere and the wait staff were very good. We will definitely go again.
