We attended the special Mad Hatters tea party, part of the RBG Alice in Bloomland. The event was a whimsical exquisite triumph, and thoroughly enjoyed by all. A great birthday treat for our octogenarian. Thank you to the RBG team

just wasnt what was expecting, we booked a themed Tea party and it just was so planned and disapointing, thought it would have been a bit closer to the theme but only decor was handling cards and barely any, nothing like "eat me" drink me" nothing to do with Alice in wonderlands Mad hatters Tea party. and for the price you pay it seemed like you all got your own food tower but no you only got half of one each it just wasnt what we expected and was really pricely for what it was, it was for a birthday and wasnt fun for her at all sadly.

I am a member of RBG.. Turner teahouse never disappoints. Amelia, our waitress was lovely. Busy as it’s “Alice in Bloomland”, but afternoon tea was delivered in timely fashion.

The food was less than adequate. We love high tea and go at least twice a year. We recommend The Blue Willow Tea House in Gravenhurst. Maybe, this tea house should take a look at some of their menus. My daughter gave RBGs Teahouse a 1 1/2 and I would say 3 at the most. Nothing on the tea tray was outstanding! The breads used were not great. Desserts not good. Best items were the scones, piece of chocolate and the single cucumber sandwich. After talking to one of the staff I got the impression it wasn’t just us! She encouraged us to review the Teahouse and its food.

The service is very slow and poor. Our server never checked on us once we got our food. We were served tarts that were so bitter that we could not eat them and when I told the server, she said the kitchen was aware because there have been many complaints and they were “working on it.” No offer of refund or replacement of treat. It’s awfully pricey given what you got.

Mad Hatters teahouse experience is a good one and I'm sure the teahouse would be good any other time of year as well
