The restaurant experience was great, despite the fact it was New Year's Eve. However, they had NO reservation for us under Open Table. They said that the Open Table reservations were not received. We had two confirmations from OT, but they didn't have it at all and said there was a problem with reserving with OT. Luckily, they had an available table but now I question making reservations with the Open Table app.

The Calamari appetizer was too tough and our other dishes were average including a margarita pizza.

I was surprised we got last minute reservations on Christmas Eve, but we were happy to get them. The food is always fresh, authentic and delicious. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and my husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. We were both happy with our dinners. I haven't had eggplant parmesan that good in a long time. The salad was very fresh and their garlic bread is really good. We definitely plan on making it one of our dining out staples.

My wife and I visited Tuscany Nokomis a couple of months ago and were pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food served under the new owners. So with our dear friends in tow we headed back to Tuscany Nokomis for a second visit. I ordered the veal parmigiana, which was leathery and served with mashed potatoes that must have been flakes 10 minutes earlier. Overall, only my wife's Newberg was tasty. Disappointing to say the least. Will probably give them one more try, but not any time soon. Too many other good options.
