Originated from the famed Uchi restaurant in Austin, founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole, Uchiko specializes in robust flavors infused with smoke and hints of char balanced with the fresh and clean profile that is the hallmark of its sister concept Uchi. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Happy Hour is offered everyday from 4:00 - 6:00 and on Sunday - Wednesday from 4pm - 10pm at the bar only. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    When I come down to Texas from New York, I try to always get an Uchi or Uchiko in. Let me start by saying that it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the country, and usually almost every bite is outstanding. I don’t know if it was an off night, but the service was terrible, the food was bland and didn’t seem like the quality I was used to. We were celebrating my parent’s anniversary and it was so disappointing

    The food and service were excellent, but the reservation system needs improvement. We had to wait an hour to be seated, even though we had a reservation. It seemed like the host forgot about us while we waited at the bar.

    Chef’s tasting menus are the way to go - it’s like a delicious surprise for every course! Each bite is an explosion of taste, and the delicate seafood is perfectly prepared. Our service was perfect!
