Our Coop is open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner, drinks and take-out and for weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Union Chicken is a full-service restaurant where guests are welcome to sit right up at the open concept kitchen and watch the ‘spitmaster’ expertly prepare our birds for your enjoyment. The girl who brought the water almost threw our glasses on the table, giving the impression she did not want to be there. The water was lukewarm. Food was warm but not hot. I had made a reservation online. One of the questions was if this was a special occasion. I answered yes, a birthday for my friend. I thought she might have received complimentary dessert, at the very least a friendly Happy Birthday, but nothing was mentioned or acknowledged. I was very disappointed. There were just a handful of people in the restaurant, so really no excuse for the lukewarm food and water and blasé attitude of the girl serving the water. Even with the scarcity of patrons, the noise level was annoying. I was there with a friend in January when the attitudes of the staff, the temperature of the food and water was much better. Sorry to see it go downhill so soon.

The food was very good, the staff was very pleasant and patient. The chairs were not very comfortable but it was tolerable. I will definitely go back. Yum!
