   This was my first time there. My wife and I went for a date night. Everything was wonderful from the hostess, the waiter/manager Mike to the food and drinks. We will definitely be back.

   Had a delightful lunch at Uptown on a Friday afternoon. We shared the Cobb Salad and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were done very nicely and there was no problem switching out the salad dressing to a shallot vinaigrette. Thin fries, nice and crispy. Our server, Raven, was courteous and professional. Will definitely be back.

   We went to the jazz brunch. The drinks were well mixed, the music was simple but great, and every single thing we ordered was fresh and yummy. Easy to recommend.

   Apps were served late, one came after we finished dinner. Everybody got their meal at a different time. So loud. Lights flickering the whole time.

   Food was fantastic. I had the burger and my husband had the seared tuna salad. The bacon wrapped dates were back as an appetizer, and no one cooks them as well as this restaurant!

   Our server was very nice. BUT...it took FOREVER for our entrees to arrive. We had an appetizer (another server delivered the wrong appetizer to our table. We asked because it did not look like nachos...he said it had chips so yes it was nachos...the table beside us said they ordered the spinach dip with chips...so, yeah...the server re-delivered it to them. Our nachos came out shortly after - we had to ask for the sour cream that the menu said came with them...it came to our table when we were just about 3/4 of the way done with the appetizer). Once our entrees arrived (we were there for 65 minutes already) the food was good. Not sure we would make an effort to return. We would only recommend after warning that the service is SLOW!!!

    Victoria was amazing. My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Uptown. Great experience with delicious food.
