   Always, always an enjoyable evening. Never a disappointment. The chef, Drulio is remarkable and the staff led by Christiano are so warm and welcoming! A real gem!!

   Great Italian food. The gnocchi keeps us coming back. Service was excellent. Barbera was great and half-bottle / carafe option was appreciated.

   Valenti’s was very crowded last night but the food by Duilio and the service by Cristiano didn’t skip a beat. We started with a glass of bubbly. My wife had the Caesar’s salad to start and the crispy skin Mt. Lassen steelhead. I had the baby lettuce with gorganzola cheese and house made chips and the black squid ink pasta with large prawns. We both enjoyed our meals, as the dishes were delicious as usual. Great food and great service on New Year’s Eve. Thank you!

   The food is always the best of the best. The gnocchi I call pillows of heaven so light, fluffy, and delicious. There are usually standards and some seasonal specialties. Right now the chef Duhlio is making an ink squid fettuccine with prawns and a Calabrian chile sauce. It’s spicy but not too much with a delicious tangy sauce over perfectly cooked sauce, it’s quite incredible. There is nothing on the menu that isn’t cooked to perfection. Personally I think it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bay Area.

    We enjoy 2-3 special meals per year at Valenti. Service and food is always spectacular!  Great wine list.
