   Thoroughly enjoyed the experience that was curated at this restaurant. The owner is a lovely man, and he is the one who waited on us. Quiet enough that you can actually have conversations. They were very thoughtful. I would say service is 10/10. Would 100% recommend this place to people.

   So nice to find a quiet, comfortable restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. I look forward to returning and trying the tasting menu.

   We had the four course meal. The food was great. The service was good. We were unattended for a while from the moment we were seated. The place is very small. It feels crowded. The experience was good. A bit overpriced overall.

   I usually don’t write reviews, but VENETO truly deserves recognition. After passing by many times, I decided to give it a try last night, and we were absolutely wowed! If food and service are important to you, this is the place to go. The servers were exceptionally professional—accommodating, attentive, and polite. We felt like we were waited on hand and foot. Every dish was outstanding, and as a picky eater, I can confidently say that I’ve never had eggplant parmigiana as good as this. I recently dined at some of the finest and trendiest restaurants in LA, yet this experience was far superior. Restaurant owners should dine here to learn how it’s done! It’s a true gem in Salt Lake, and I’ll definitely be going back soon. By the way, we invited a couple of friends who are world travelers and foodies, and they were equally impressed. VENETO should be recognized as Utah’s first Michelin-starred restaurant!

   I have dined in a few nice restaurants in and around SLC but Veneto is unlike any of them! The ambience was very cozy, and despite how small it was it felt very curated. The service was the best I’ve ever had, and the food was delicious. There is no tipping because the staff is paid well to compensate, which I like. We will absolutely be back.

   Last night we had the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings. All the dishes were prepared with great thought and care resulting in beautiful presentations and wonderful flavors. The wine pairings were carefully chosen to enhance the food. When we arrived the floor was packed with diners, but the service was excellent and the kitchen kept each course coming at a pace that allowed for a proper amount of time between courses.

   Fantastic meal as a celebration for 2 birthdays .... we opted to "share" - perfectly seasoned beef tartre, beets,creamy red beet ravioli, onion quiche (perfect buttery and flakey crust), ragu (pasta perfectly al dente), liver and onions, and the Tomahawk. The steak was rare, tender, and savory. Our meals was accompanied by wonderful wines chosen with help from the sommelier - Bastianich Plus friulano 2106 and the 2018 Podere Le Ripi Cielo d'Ulisse Brunello di Montalcino. We ended the evening sharing the Tiramisu - fantastico!

   The food is fantastic and truly authentic Italian! My wife and I moved to SLC from Florence, Italy. This is the only restaurant that takes us back home. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors simple (like the best of Italian cuisine) yet perfect together. Complimenti! È tutto fatto con tanto amore!

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Veneto and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was perfect. The menu offered a wonderful selection of authentic Italian dishes, each bursting with flavor. I started with the hand cut beef tartare, which was fresh and delicious. The wine menu is out of this world and second to none! Overall, Veneto exceeded all my expectations. The combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a cozy ambiance made for a truly memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to return!
