   Our first time to Vincenzo Trattoria was simply perfect! We were kindly greeted by the owner, Colton. The warm authentic atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We were offered warm focaccia, San Peregrino, and Ice water. Our 15 yr old son ordered the fried calamari for the table and it was delightfully delicious. The special of the night was my all-time favorite, Lemon Chicken Piccata with Caper and it was perfect. My husband, who's 1/2 Italian and longing for a good Italian restaurant in our neighborhood, was very please with his Lasagna. We finished the night with the Chocolate Chip Cannoli and Tiramisu, which was honestly the best I've ever had. We will definitely go back!

   Took a team of colleagues to this place for a team building dinner. Every one of us ordered something different and every one of us raved about out food. The service was attentive but didn't rush us, they made good suggestions for wine, and even steered us to some desserts that weren't on the menu which were excellent. We all left thoroughly impressed with our dinner and the experience had. We will definitely be returning to Vincenzo Trattoria!

   What a delightful surprise. Don’t let the strip mall front fool door fool you. A relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, outstanding customer service, and wonderful food. This is our new go-to for Italian.

   The food was delicious. The wait staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our kids loved the food and the desserts!

   Their Sommelier, Caleb, was phenomenal. His recommendations of the wine paired perfectly with the meal. Give them an idea of what you like and ask them to surprise you with the order. They won’t let you down! Definitely will return the next time I’m in town. (only downside is the fluorescent lights up above the restaurant, it gives very office space turned restaurant)

   Probably the best Italian food in Boise by a long way. We’ve eaten there several times- the previously rather gruff owner has been replaced by a charming and attentive manager (new owner?) backed up by some superb wait staff. Calum was our server last night- friendly, knowledgeable and just the right amount of attentiveness without being imposing. Food- as ever- was outstanding- as good if not better as many meals we had in Italy. Carbonara was excellent- we also shared a burrata plate and some delicious bread. My husband had the chicken saltimbocca- just fantastic. The only slight downside to this place is the lack of ambience- the overhead lighting is just a bit too bright. A few candles and some low-level lighting- Vincenzos would give any downtown high-end restaurant a run for their money. It won’t stop us returning- the food is just too good- but it would greatly enhance the overall experience.

   Don’t let the location fool you, this family run Trattoria impresses with good ingredients that are well prepared and not overly seasoned or too rich. Great value! Great food.

    Freshly made pasta! So good. Three of us each had different entrees all were enjoyed. From Rigatoni in red sauce , the pasta with clams or the pasta carbonara all were delicious.
