Virtue Feed & Grain is a modern American dining room and bar located near the Potomac River in Old Town, Alexandria. Our menu offers an array of original recipe, flavorful, scratch-made dishes, along with extensive selections from the bar, like handcrafted cocktails, craft and small-batch beers, and an impressive wine list. The rustic elegance of our large, two-story restaurant provides a vibrant atmosphere for any dining experience, as well as private and semi-private spaces for private events, celebrations, weddings, business meetings, and gatherings of all types. The seasonal outdoor patio on historic Wales Alley offers views to the Potomac and a fun, casual destination.**

*Unfortunately we do not take advance reservations on our outdoor patio, but we will do our best to accommodate requests as space is available.

    Heaters above the doors is a must, any seat near the door becomes extremely uncomfortable when the door is continuously opened and closed or held open

    Glad we made reservations cause it was packed! We ordered the special hushpuppies, the shishito peppers as appetizers. He had wine I had vodka. Both appetizers were delicious. We shared the steak and fries - again delicious. Ended up the evening with a yummy cheesecake. Noise level was pretty loud but sorta mangeable. Our only complaint was being rushed. The waiter was constantly at our table either wanting to take an order or wanting to clear plates. Don’t let them rush you. Enjoy this restaurant.

    Great place! Food is so yummy. Ordered the chip and dip for appetizers. Guac so fresh! Ordered thr chicken carnita tacos, the chickrn tenders and the umma burger. Everything was delicious

    Food and service was great. Nate our waiter was fantastic. Only thing was our table was right at the top of the steps, would have preferred one of the open tables around the perimeter or window, but by the time we were about to ask a few other customers were already directed to those seats. Would have rather first come best option. Besides that, Overall a great experience!
