Great location next to Palladium and the Christkindlmarkt. Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Hostess was warm and lovely. Server was kind but scattered. We had an allergy at our table and the meal had to be changed at the last minute.

Reservation was late. Food was cold. Service was sub par. Very disappointed for “the best restaurant in Carmel” not to mention most expensive!

Service was not good. Took forever to get greeted and get drink orders. When we asked for more water mid-meal they didn’t even care so we had to grab our own water carafe from the bar. Ordering fries instead of breakfast potatoes was a $5 up charge but they didn’t say that when ordering, so we found out once the bill came. All that came with an automatic “service charge of 22%” which was neither disclaimed by the server, nor earned.

Great location and ambience. Staff was outstanding. Food was good and reasonably priced. My opinion is that for a French themed restaurant, the cuisine was not reflective of that in selection or preparation.

We celebrated a birthday with lunch at Vivante. We have great champagne to start and crab cakes, soup and salad and a burger and all was delicious. Riley took great care of us and it was a perfect lunch
