   We went to this place primarily to try grilled oysters. This was the only place in Palm Beach that offered grilled oysters. Oysters were great, and so was the redfish. The beignets were terrific. The service was excellent.

   This was our second time dining here. First time, food and service were awesome. This time food was great, but our server wasn’t the best. He would refill our waters and disappear for far too long between to check on us. Then at the end of our meal he took my plate away (which had leftovers I was going to bring home) and threw table trash and my napkin on top of it without asking. Luckily my son was able to request a box for his leftover fish before he did the same to him. It was just unprofessional and very off-putting. I feel this is a direct result of having a built in 18% service fee…some servers don’t do their best because they have a guaranteed tip coming to them regardless of how poor the service is. Typically I would have tipped extra, but due to the poor service I didn’t on this visit.

   We visited Voodoo Bayou to celebrate our anniversary. The service was wildly underwhelming. Food was just so-so. The food and service was not worth the high price. We’ve been here in the past and had an incredible experience. This visit did not leave us looking forward to coming back.

   They were not organized/prepared with the reservations. If someone confirms a reservation for a large party, make it available for that large group. They missed out on a lot of alcohol profit with my group. If they would have sat us as our reservation time, (give or take 15 mins) are tab would have been way higher.

    This was our first time at this restaurant. We do not live in the area. Love the concept and decor. The music was a little too loud. The food was good, my only critique was that the grits were tasteless.
