   The savoury food was delicious. We had churros for dessert which were, unfortunately, really greasy and not at all sweet. Our waiter was friendly but took a long time to take our order. The drinks were also very slow. It was a Saturday but not ridiculously busy, there was no wait for tables. Toilets were pretty messy and had no hand soap.

   Strange system where there is a huge queue but they're all walk-ins, not clear where you go if you have a reservation and I had to very awkwardly push past everyone as it was so narrow and no-one was really moving. Then there was no-one there to help so wandered around looking for the table for a while. Then service was a bit slow but food was good.

   Such helpful pleasant service. I arrived early for lunch but. was welcomed. The seabass was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. The whole experience enhanced by beautiful weather, but I couldn’t recommend the place more highly – a good lunchtime experience.

   I love Wahaca but I can't give it a good rating because I went specifically for the cactus tacos they had emailed me about and they were "out of cactus" already at 1.30pm. So I had to get food that I didn't want. It's very overpriced too and they keep changing the menu, getting rid of good veggie options like the mushroom and croquetas.

    We booked a table but waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged by front of house, at which point the walk-in customers who did not have a booking were seated before us. As we had a theatre booking, we decided we could not wait any longer so we left the establishment. We did not feel welcomed, the restaurant itself felt chaotic and disorganised, and although it was not at capacity, clearly the staff were unable to cope with the volume of customers. This was the first time I have returned to Wahaca in 6 years, after a previous negative experience at the restaurant. I will not be coming back!
