   I was really kind of disappointed, both with the food and the level of service. I had heard good things about the Walnut Grill and so we decided to take an out of town guest down for the Thanksgiving buffet. I was really disappointed in the food quality, some of the items were really generic. I expected a higher level than we saw. And the price was not low end, so I expected the food to be better. The draft beer was not the brand that they stated (probably had the kegs installed wrong), the desserts were bland and mass merch type, the gravy was very poor, just not the quality I expected. It was late in the afternoon and the place had slowed significantly, yet we were seated in the last booth in the restaurant and we rarely saw our server. The server at the next table was very attentive and on the ball, but ours just was not.

   We had the Thanksgiving buffet, it was OK. They need to be quicker with bringing empty menu items with refills. Also, they ran out of pumpkin pie by 3:30 in the afternoon. The server Monica was attentive to our needs.

   I went for the Thanksgiving Buffet at Walnut Grill. I thought the service was excellent. Overall, I enjoyed the meal very much and thought the $35 price tag was more than fair considering the amount of prime rib and shrimp I enjoyed. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the soups & desserts, but the disappointment wouldn't stop me from returning. If you've never been there before, be aware this restaurant has a sports bar atmosphere and can be quite noisy. Also, all the seating is on stool-like chairs that are high up and can be difficult to get on and off, esp. if you have mobility issues. All in all, it was a great meal with great service. This was my first time at Walnut Grill, so I don't how this holiday buffet compares to their regular dining experience.

   The Thanksgiving buffet was absolutely fabulous!!! The mashed potatoes were real potatoes and delicious; even the gravy was awesome! The white meat of the turkey was moist, not dry, the green beans were cooked just enough, and the prime rib was to die for!!! It was a truly spectacular meal!!!

   The service was very good and our server was on top of things we didn’t have to ask for anything. The crab cakes weren’t bad could’ve used more seasoning for me. I will go back again. Nice place some thing different.

   We had the steak burger with fries and the wings with sweet potato fries…both were so good. Always enjoy this restaurant and always find something to enjoy.

    The food was delicious from the mushroom chicken to the balsamic chicken to the chicken tenders. Our server was so professional and friendly and provided a very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.
