   Apart from our waitress, the experience was very ordinary. Roast Dinner or Pizza! £18.50 for roast - 2 Potatoes and one slither of Brisket. The vegetables were very sparce also. Even had to pay extra for stuffing @ £3.50. Asked for English Mustard to go with my Beef and they didn't have any. Two of us had Roasts and 3 had Pizza. Considering all the veg and meats were already cooked, we were told not to expect the meals to come out at the same time. They could plate the roasts once the Pizzas were ready. Drinks are also expensive £6.10 for pint of Birra Moretti. Coffee was almost coffee free. Very week. Overall - we won't go back again!

   We had a delicious meal here yesterday. The ambience was friendly and welcoming especially with the complimentary cocktail on arrival. The staff were superb and could not have been more attentive and friendly. Our meals were delicious and the pudding we chose was absolutely superb ( the cheesecake). All in all we had a fabulous valentines meal without it feeling cliched. We will definitely return for another meal later in the year.

   The Burns Supper was a delight. The meal was welll planned and delivered. The piper was wonderful idea. It was interesting and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was z wide section of drinks available. The tables were not too close. Overall outstanding

   We found limited indication on the menu to help with our particular dietary issues (dairy and gluten free) so there was awkward discussion about items on the menu that would be suitable, then our order arrived with dairy in the mushy peas, this plate was removed for ten minutes to be returned without peas at all. Our dining together went astray at that point. As a treat for a day out related to the cost, and faff with menus (which just need a little clarification on the website and with table staff in the room) we would advise caution in a review, staff were pleasant, food was good and if the fish and chips were gluten free we don’t think you’d lose customers over that issue…try it next time you change the cooking oils! Thank you to be fair.

    The gluten free selection is basically non existent-I just got stuck with grilled fish-just so disappointing. It’s such a shame as everything else about it is really good.
