   Our server Will was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the food was not as good as in previous visits. The crab legs/claws in the cioppino did not contain very much meat and the broccolini was quite tough. On the plus side, the poke was delicious and the bread never disappoints.

   Foods and service were amazing! It was a great experience from the beginning to end. I love how the restaurant gives off a cozy vibe and the interior was beautifully decorated. We ordered raw oysters and Peruvian scallops, which tasted fresh and gives a clean aftertaste. I got a chance to try a little bit of each items my family ordered and they were tasty.

   Amazing food and service! The seafood is incredibly fresh and all the dishes are so flavorful. The staff is excellent. One of the best restaurants in OC!

   Had a fantastic experience at this place! First the manager Cesar came by and told us happy new year and let us know he’s available if we have any concerns we asked him for recommendations and he told us to split the bone in rib-eye and a big lobster, was a great portion for 2 people, the server recommended some sides and we went with her dessert for recommendation of the Grenache which was killer!!!! At the end John stopped by who is the new GM asking about our experience and thank us for dining in, absolutely fantastic time

   Our first year spending New Year’s at this restaurant had a blast. Food was delicious. Five star service.

   WG is my favorite in the OC and have been there many times. Have to say that the service for the large NYE crowd was exceptional. Food was excellent as well. Only criticism is that one person in our party’s steak was cooked rare instead of medium rare plus and when it was taken back to cook more still came back too rare. Very fun event with friends and would come back again for NYE. Thank you for not disappointing!

   Not a fan of prefix dinner but this is kind of the norm whenever big holiday comes. But I would give a thumb up for this place. Plenty of high quality selections. Food is great and price is very reasonable good for the occasion and food quality. We have shrimp cocktail & crab cake (1st) chowder and beet salads (2nd) lobster & fillet mignon and seabass (3rd). Desert (bread pudding and ganache) is not up to spar with food. I choose not to do wine pairing because the choice of wine and champagne and deserts wine is not what I prefer. I end up with champagne for appetizers and cocktails for sipping. Just in the mood for rye whiskey (neat)

   We had a big group. Service pretty good despite the hectic night of New Year’s Eve. Food good and seafood oysters fresh. Maybe sea bass slightly overcooked for few of our party who decided on their main entree. Medium rare filet were really cooked perfectly. Desserts also good but not crazy about pudding. Our family from out of town enjoyed the experience.

    The NYE pre fixe menu and ambience at WG exceeded our expectations for NYE. The food was outstanding, the live music— cozy and warmed the mood, and the complementary Photo Booth and NYE accessories were both special touches that made my husband and I feel like we weren’t missing out on an incredibly special NYE celebration.
