Our overall dining experience was wonderful. The oysters, appetizers, and salads were amazing as was the milk bread. The trout entrees were extremely salty. However, the four of us still finished them. The black and white fondant and the princess trifle were lovely endings to the meal. Servive from Amy and the rest of the staff was impeccable.

We sat outside on patio and were a bit chilly but they were accommodating and put the heater on which was very nice. Our server was knowledgeable, pleasant and did his job well, also gave us a complimentary mini brownie bite type dessert which was yummy. The two cocktails we ordered, the queen bee and the Cádiz tonic were underwhelming and lackluster , but were beautifully presented. Our food however was incredible! We ordered the trout and the halibut, both were divine in taste and presentation but the halibut was the overwhelming favorite .We also ordered the Brussels sprouts and sunchokes and were pleasantly surprised at how well the applesauce complemented the sprouts. For dessert we shared an espresso martini which was delectable, which made up for the disappointing first round of initial drinks. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend people to go here !

From the beginning to end; the service was unpleasantly. The hostess was rude when we inquired about sitting outside. I showed up 10 minutes prior to our reservation time with my mother who is 65 years old & handicap, my wife and two year old daughter. The hostess completely dismissed us when she saw us enter. We decided to sit by the bar since we weren’t getting any help. When our server came he was rushing us to take our order when we had just sat down. He was offended we asked for the happy hour menu at 2:20 when happy hour starts at 2:30 and refused to take an order from the happy hour menu until the 10 minutes had passed. The oysters and my daughter’s ravioli was delicious but the rest of the entrees were sad to say the least. My mother’s fish and chips were extremely salty, the lobster bisque tasted like canned soup, and the swordfish was enough to feed a toddler. I give the food a fair review but the service was really unexpected & unexceptionable. Other servers and the second host seemed to be arguing and kept whispering under their breathe rude comments of one another. Lastly, upon leaving my wife forgot our daughters bag at the table and instead of walking the bag over to her the server yelled “hey” and then whistled at us to come back and grab our bag. What a true gentleman. My family and I used to love going to dine here but after today’s experience I will never bring my family back here again.

Not as great as in the past. For the price, food was good but not amazing . Lobster bisque would have been nice witb a tiny chunk of decorative lobster. Wine arrived after the meal. I’ve been coming here since the place opened and will most likely be back for the view

Service was pretty terrible, server forgot one of our appetizers which they did comp but it came after our entrees as I had to ask again for it. Took forever to get anything from them and the table next to us was served much faster than us despite sitting down a fair amount after and sharing the same waiter. By the time they had gotten and eaten all of their dessert our waiter hadn’t even checked back in with us to see if we wanted any. Probably took at least 30 minutes after we finished eating to get the check

Location and view are fantastic. Food is very good. Service was excellent. Only negative is that it is very expensive. It was nearly $300 for my wife and I. (2 glasses of wine, 2 cocktails, 4 oysters (total), 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees…no side dishes) I know it’s San Francisco and costs will be high but this was such that I’d think twice before going again.

The restaurant week special was swordfish with glass noodle peanut sauce. It was very good as were the oysters. The princess cake trifle stole the show though!

WaterBar is a true gem ! The view, setting, service, and food are top notch. Sitting on the patio with a bright sunny day is relaxing and most enjoyable. Our server Stefan made our day ! His wit, sense of humor, and attention made for a most memorable experience.

    二度目の食事 以前は7年ほど前で、良いイメージを持っていました。 今回も期待通りのクオリティーでした。 お勧めのワインも、スプリングトラウト、スープ、パンまでもどれも美味しかったです。
