   Both Emily at the front and Christina who served us were FANTASTIC. Very friendly and very organized for our large party. I loved that when we sat down water was already on the table and Christina was very accommodating for separate checks, there was no issue with that at all. We did wait a little long for our food, but I do understand that serving 20 people is hard. Outside of the wait on food, our time at Island Wave was great. Thank you for having us!

   Small but lovely restaurant for our family birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well as the service which was excellent. Will definitely come again.

   We had a huge party of over 20 people. More than expected showed up last minute and the staff was super nice and adaptable. They did an amazing job with orders food came out quick and no mistakes!

    Japanese and Hawaiian food in one restaurant is a great concept, unfortunately quality of materials and workmanship was weak. Staff were nice service was excellent, but it’s not something I’d ever go back to.

   Disappointing Experience Due to Restaurant Closure I made a reservation at Wave through OpenTable. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found the restaurant was closed, without any prior notice. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I was disappointed by the lack of communication. It would have been helpful to receive an update about the closure, especially since we had made plans and all driven separately. I hope management can improve their communication in the future. I suggest calling that day to confirm, because Open Table and Google Maps were unreliable

   We had an amazing first experience! I brought two people from out of State, we were greeted as we entered and seated right away. The owner Sarah made some great recommendations and the sushi was excellent!

   Wish there weren’t TV’s with sports games everywhere. This used to be a nice sushi place, now it seems like it doesn’t know if it’s a sports bar or a sushi restaurant. Love the food, hate the sports bar atmosphere.
