   A lovely venue , great service & amazing food but on the outside deck the larger tables have very little shade . Cooler day this morning but the sun was still quite harsh.

   Beautiful setting on the lake was undercut somewhat by a DJ. Staff were unsettlingly over-friendly. When every member of staff greets you like an old friend, it just comes across as disingenuous. Food was pretty good.

   We enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Service was very good, food mostly good (burger a bit too salty), ambience great. Would happily come again.

   Loud thumping music totally spoilt the enjoyment of the view of the water and clear blue skies. Majority of people eating there at lunch time were seniors and choice or “non choice” of what was assumed to be “music” ruined the whole experience.

   Breakfast was awesome. I had the Whitby poached eggs with pulled pork, picked cabbage and homemade hashbrown with hollandaise sauce. Best breakfast ever! The service was both engaging and pleasant and a little cheeky, but very welcomed and received. Kids had a ball.

    When I chose noise level at energetic, I didn’t meant it to be positive. Every time I come to Bendigo I have always come to the Boardwalk. Though it has changed hands I still did a booking. I love the lake, the environment and just the general feeling of the place. Today as soon I I parked my car, I could hear loud disco/night club style music. My heart was pounding. I didn’t enjoy my food and experience due to the music. Please remove the DJ and music coz it adds 0 to anyone’s experience at this restaurant.
