   Well I was greatly surprised and impressed at what they have done to the White horse. The food is extremely good also very good price’es Also the staff very attentive. We shall definitely visit again. Thank you

   First visit and definitely won’t be our last . Had a selection from the starters to share amongst 4 and every dish was so tasty and fresh . Such lovely staff also . See you very soon .

   Lovely cosy pub, great atmosphere, tasty food with a good choice on the menu. Staff were really friendly, large car park. It was very busy (which is good) but it was noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

   We arrived for a 6.45pm table on a Saturday night. Already one of the mains was sold out and we were told that there were only one portion each left, of two other dishes. One diner had chops, it came as a plate of meat only. That is not a meal. We totally understand the way now that you are expected to pay for sides but a plate with just chops? We also ordered 2 burgers and one vegan burger. These came on small plates with no salad on plate. Looked very unappetising. We paid over £200 in total with wine. Won’t be rushing back.

    We attended tghe recently instigated "curry night" because since having new management the cost of meals on the main menu is too high for us to enjoy eating there and this seemed a more affordable option. The curries were O.K. but not special and there were only two options, chicken & lamb, available on the advertised weekly "curry night". Cost of chicken bhuna, £17, and lamb rogan josh, £18, was expensive -came with papadum &, mango chutney but extremely small portions of rice. Service was very friendly making it a pleasant experience. When we commented on small portion of rice they said we could have had more if we had asked but not sure if we would have been charged as all sides are priced separately on the menu. Sadly, with new management, gone are the days when locals could afford to eat there regularly and leave feeling well-fed.
