   Food and service was excellent! We all enjoyed our meals and experience. We just wished the lighting was a little softer for such a fancy restaurant it was so bright.

   Fifteen minute wait after being seated before waitress came to the table. Sea Bass was “fishy” tasting as in not fresh.

   Seafood dish was tasteless and overcooked. Drinks were good and service was very good. The view was very good. I would not return except for a drink and the view.

   We celebrated a birthday with a family outing tonight. Willie G’s proved to be an excellent choice. They treated us all like honored guests. All dishes were delicious and beautifully plated. Our server was kind and professional. The manager visited us to deliver well wishes. Always a success to eat here. I’ll be back soon!

   Willie G's is owned by Landry's. The dining room and outside dining is nice, but the food is just OK. We had 6 people for dinner and everyone walked away with the same opinion ... food is good but nothing memorable (and in some cases needed more flavor). Server was nice and attentive. Wine menu is limited (but that's pretty much true of all places in Galveston). Food quality is on par with Red Lobster, but prices are higher.

   We chose to eat outside where the views of the harbor and dolphins are great! Our Lobster Bites were a delicious way to start the meal, then we continued on with an authentic Clam Chowder. I highly recommend the Stuffed Shells with crab and spinach, because the combination of the Bechamel sauce and red pepper reduction were mouth-watering! Our server was attentive and the food came out promptly. Unfortunately a table nearby had a very vociferous child which dimmed the peaceful outdoor experience. (Nothing that was the fault of the proprietors)

    We enjoyed a Happy Hour drink and appetizers at the bar. Jenny is an excellent bartender, and it's a pleasure to see her each time we dine here. When we were called to our dinner table, we were matched with Robert, who was a fantastic waiter. However, the Oysters Rockefeller were barely warm. They looked cooked on top, but were completely raw underneath. On the flip side, the lobster and ribeye steak dinners were wonderful. We also had an order of the Frutti di Mare pasta, but it had a few issues as well. The sauce was very watery and peppery. It seems they had a few missteps in the kitchen. But overall, we still had an excellent evening and love dining here.
