Outstanding food. Consistently the best place to eat out in Bristol. Attentive and freindly staff talk you through each course and accompanying wines. Ever-changing menus bringing you the seasonal and local delights that Jan and his team conjure up into a magical delight. Melt in the mouth steamed trout, heavenly red mullet and the most delicious Kune Kune pork I have ever eaten. No wonder you have to book early to get a table.

Jan and his team never fail to impress. One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. Gets better every time. Jerusalem artichoke dish and trout dish were the stars of the show.

Since the introduction of the "Set Menu" the quality of the dining experience has reached an even higher level, although that may seem impossible based on the previous quality offering which was, frankly, excellent. Now the food is superb

Off the clock food, so inventive, incredible quality everything, great, friendly and highly informed waiting staff. The owner and chef is open and warm. We love this place....

Really good and personal service The welcome felt warm and genuine 7 course fixed menu was varied innovative and delicious My only negative was the time between the courses was too short
