    Over the years, Wine Dive has been one of my primary go-to restaurants in Wichita, especially when guests come to town. My most recent dinner was with a party of five. It had been several months since I enjoyed dinner there, and the restaurant had added a few tempting new menu items, but I went with the sea bass, one of my favorites, and my colleague stuck with his usual ahi tuna. Our out-of-town guests raved about their dishes (steak frites, the ahi tuna appetizer, and I forget what else). Wine Dive has an excellent wine list. If you have room for dessert, the chocolate cake is pretty sinful. Although management and wait staff have changed over the past year, everyone does their job well, and Wine Dive remains a highly recommended restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's just a few miles from downtown in an eastside residential area and retains the feel of a neighborhood destination.

    Bruschetta, Duck Confit, Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Tiramisu were all outstanding. Happy Hour Manhattan was delicious and well mixed. Service was warm, informative, attentive and professional. Quietly elegant ambiance and comfortable decor. A definite must for an elevated dining experience in Wichita.

    Really disappointing. They weren’t prepared for our reservation despite not being busy. Took 5-10 minutes of waiting to tell us they couldn’t find the wine we’d ordered, didn’t have it. My food was very salty with a small portion size of duck. My aunt had a huge cut of meat and the server rushed us to pay before she’d finished. Forced my husband to pay the bill before she was done with her entree.

    I had made reservations for a business lunch for 9/19/24. I arrived, and my clients arrived to find a sign on the door that they were closed for a private party. It was very embarrassing to have made these plans and find them not open for my lunch meeting. We had to scramble to find another venue. Very poor client experience.

    We had a 1 PM reservation for 4 people on Wed, 8/28/24. I was the 1st person to arrive at 1 PM. We looked at menus and I asked if they had any lunch specials. The waitress said No. We ordered half salads with chicken breast added. I requested bread for the table. The waitress was clearly no happy that we did not order wine. We had to ask for water refills 3 times while we were there. Lunch was delivered to our table - 2 half salads with 1/2 chicken breast each. 2 salads were delivered without chicken. We requested she bring the missing chicken and bread. After about 7 minutes I went looking for the waitress. She was no where to be found. I spoke to a man in the kitchen about the missing chicken and bread. He told me he didn’t know anything about it but would get some bread ready. After about 12 minutes the waitress brought the chicken and 3 pieces of bread. There were 4 of us there for lunch. Unbelievable! When she delivered our bills we found a card inside the reads: LUNCH WINE SPECIAL: MONDAY - FRIDAY 11 AM - 2 PM I asked about lunch specials and she told us there were not any. Unbelievable! Lunch was a huge disappointment. I recommended Wine Dive as a good place to dine for our luncheon and I was totally embarrassed. UGH! I will NEVER recommend Wine Dive again.

    We arrived for our 630 reservation to discover there was no table for us. The hostess and host had the deer in the headlight look like they had no idea we were talking about. They told us it would be a few minutes. We waited at the bar for 10 minutes, and then were shown to a high top table. I specifically requested no high top table when I made my reservation. The excuse was we did not know that. We then waited another 15 minutes for a regular table. How can a person have a confirmed reservation and have to wait 30 minutes for their table?
