I had booked a table at Wingers on Saturday 14/9. We arrived to find that they were closed due to a power cut but we had not been informed of this so had already paid for parking that wasn’t necessary! This isn’t the first time this has happened here either. Very disappointing

Admittedly we only booked on the day about half hour before, but when we arrived it was closed! There was a note on the door, apologising for being closed due to an issue, but I can’t remember what the issue was. In any case, perhaps it would have been prudent to tell any bookings systems they are a part of to ensure open table were informed, would have saved us a wasted visit! It was a 3pm booking, so you would think they had all day to do this, but either didn’t, or there was a mix up somewhere. Either way, I wasn’t impressed.

What Harborne High Street needed! The chicken tenders are up there with the best we've had. The wings and loaded friends were lovely too. Washed it down with a lovely pint of Peroni and took an Oreo milkshake away which was delish! We had a few games of pool afterwards which was fun and this is why i say the High street needed something quirky/casual and fun with quality food. Brilliant place for groups to visit! We'll be back!

Food was dry and had little flavour. Service very good and good selection of drinks.

Loved this place! Soon as we walked in the old skool theme was present, it was energetic and a good level of being loud. What stood out compared to the previous place was it’s more welcoming to just drinkers now. Also it has amazing chicken tenders and wings along with an actual bar with REAL cocktails mixed by staff. inItially booked as a 2 but we had friends join us which wasnt a problem and the staff were brilliant. If you want something different in Harborne then this is your place.

This is not the original Bun & Barrel of old with its smash burgers. If I had to guess I’d reckon that the fast food burger joint that was next door had moved in. My burger was pretty much what I used to get at 3am after a club night. Chips were decent but Luke warm. Service was good but honestly I had to laugh when they were playing R&B but changed it to Indy when the customers started coming in from 6pm Won’t be back.
