   Red Snapper over risotto was scrumptious, the crab stuffed shrimp appetizer was delicious., the peanut butter/ chocolate pie was decadent, and the service was excellent!

   Wolf Island Oyster Company is a bistro-like bar and restaurant located in Redfern Village on St. Simons Island. The interior space is large, open, with rustic decoration and wooden-surfaced tables adjacent to a large bar along the rear of the restaurant. There are outdoor dining accomodatioins on a patio facing the island marsh. Menu selections include a pleasing array of appetizers/small plates, full entrees heavily oriented to fresh seafood dishes, sandwiches, and fried or sautéed seafood baskets. The food was very good, well-prepared and hot at service, a decent value for entrees ranging from $24 to $47, baskets $12 to $21 and sandwiches $14 to $18. Service was very attentive, servers circulating about the dining room, providing drink refills and condiments as needed. The dining room noise level was loud, making conversational speech a challenge to be heard. Overall, we spent a very pleasant evening. We will certainly return to this establishment to sample other menu offerings.

   We were greeted & welcomed by the manager, all employees had smiles on their faces and our server was knowledgeable about all food courses offered. Finally the Oyster Stew was the best that I have ever been served, the Red Snapper was excellent & all paired well with the Ferrari-Corona Fume Blanc Wine.

   Food was good service was awful. Manager ignored us although he was attentive to other tables. Did not know until I received the check that there was a difference between total if paying with cash. This policy should have been made known before paying.

   Food was great. Highly recommend. We sat on the porch which would have been better if a loud woman had not stood over us to talk to a group about real estate for an hour. Not the restaurants fault. Back porch had a cosy fireplace, sofas and tables looking out at the marsh. Very pretty view. My husband really liked his salad with shrimp. I liked my oysters but there was a little more batter than I like. Waitress was nice but forgot a few things. All in all we really liked it .

   We were handled with care and respect as my wife is in a wheelchair and we both are senior citizens. Service was excellent, food was cooked to perfection and ambience was very pleasant

    We didn’t like the Trout due to fishy taste and ton of butter. Some may have but we both do not like fishy tasting and seams like it was farm raised with the fish fat in it. The server was sweet and very good. But for $125 for two stuffed trout and 4 beer was bad.
