Very obnoxious server. Started service off by letting us know he didn’t have “time for [us] right now.” It was our anniversary and I specifically asked the manager if my wife could at least go down to the kitchen and take a picture with Bryan Voltaggio. The manager said “yes, I think we can make that happen. Let me go and see if he’s available.” The manager never returned. The food was not as expected. The only truly delicious dish was the beef tartare. The portions are small(ish). We had the 45-day aged ribeye and swordfish. The ribeye was not trimmed properly. The swordfish was a small portion and was not fresh, it was frozen. The whole service, including two starters, two entrees, and three sides took two and a half hours.

Highly recommend this for a special occasion. Pricey but entirely worth it. Great service and exceptional food. We had the whipped ricotta cheese cake appetizer it was savory and delicious. The filets were possibly the best we have ever had. Fork tender and great taste with it without the sauce provided.

Very different setting, an old chapel? Great service. A bit noisy, very crowded around the bar. My wife ordered the Beet Salad (very tasty) I ordered the Baby Romaine which was huge, suitable for splitting. My wife ordered the Soft Shell Crab special. It was one of the largest soft shells I have ever seen. I ordered the melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked Prime Rib. So tender, you dont need teeth to eat it:). Apple Dumpling for dessert. Yummmm.

Lovely experience. Food outstanding, ordered the short rib pot roast. Staff very accommodating helping us gain access to the accessible entrance. Elevator straight into dining area. Bar not accessible, but bar table area is. Valets were friendly and very accommodating since we had a wheelchair. On property All parking is valet. Spaces on the street are an option if you can find one. Must park and enter from Church St side of property.

WYE tavern is led by renowned chefs, Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. The only thing I can say is WOW! The food is top notch, and some of the best food I have had. I have lived all over the world and WYE was recommended by a colleague and it did not disappoint. It is a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Anyone visiting the Frederick MD area should absolutely check out this restaurant, which sits off the street in the Visitation Hotel. The restaurant sits inside an old church that has been renovated, and the ambience is stunning along with the preservation of original paintings and 30’ stained glass windows. Excellent service, excellent ambience, and some of the best food I’ve ever had in a while. Highly recommend!

Creative both in the menu and ambiance. A converted Catholic girl’s home and church. First for me. The confession screen incorporated into a seating floating wall partition was a hoot!

a bit of mixed bag this time. First of the parking, pretty much do it yourself on the street around the hotel. It is not convenient at all. On top of that it was a rainy day. Second issue I had was a hostess, who looks like she is doing me a favor talking to me. It did not feel like a right attitude. Third and most unpleasant for me was a food experience. Last time I was there I have ordered a prime rib and that was very good, this time I have ordered a rock fish and it was not great. It was about an 1/2 inch thick with skin and felt overcooked. Not what you would expect from a good restaurant. Disappointing. Granted, my son and my wife ordered a salad and a burger and that was good.
